About us
The Attforde ADHD centre was established to help people learn about ADHD, the conditions that can occur alongside it and how to manage their ADHD. We have personal experience of going through the ADHD process and we know that there are many demands on your time. Trying to organise your ADHD can be time consuming, thus we wanted to create a local, responsive and welcoming environment for adults to access their ADHD care.
The day to day clinical service is run by Stewart Attridge, a registered nurse with vast experience of managing medical conditions. Stewart graduated from a nursing degree at Swansea University in 2003, then went on to work in medical, community and surgical environments. Stewart spent many years working in prison environments dealing with mental and physical health issues. He gained his prescribing rights in 2012 and then spent many years dealing with the bio-physio-social issues faced by patients living with HIV.
Stewart now works as an ADHD clinician and occupational health nurse. Within the team involved in the Attforde ADHD centre we have doctors and pharmacists who all help to ensure you receive timely, accurate care. We are based in Canton, Cardiff.
